Remembering our loved ones
A wise person once said, "Flowers are for living. Memorials should be eternal"
A gift in memory of a loved one can be fitting tribute, and can also benefit the mission of a favorite Catholic institution. Often, words seem an inadequate way to express our sympathy. A Memorial Gift can be that unstated but deeply thoughtful expression of our feelings.
Eternal Life
Memorial Gifts can enable God's work long after a loved one has died, and continue what that special person represented while alive. Your gift can also become a "Living Legacy".
A Memorial Gift can support:
§ Catholic Education
§ Worship
§ Christian Service
§ Ongoing Programs
§ Capital Improvements
§ Endowed Memorials
§ Special Gift Options or Projects
Memorial Gifts Are Convenient
Perhaps you were out of town, or simply unable to attend the funeral of a spouse, friend or someone you admired. Maybe you were unable to send a sympathy card. A Memorial Gift can communicate to friends and family that you care. Memorial Gift can be a perfect expression of love.
Endowed Memorials
Large Memorial Gifts can be made or pledged over a period of time to establish an Endowed Memorial. The endowed memorial can be "named" in honor of a loved one, friend, or even in your family name.
An Endowed Memorial can be established for scholarships, special ministries, etc. Endowed Memorials are permanent and perpetual because only the earned income (interest) will be used each year.
Methods of Giving
§ Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds
§ Cash
§ Property
§ Life Insurance
Sharing your blessings through a Memorial Gift will make this world just a little bit better. Remember, God is never outdone in generosity to each and every one of us.
Thank you and God bless you.
Taxes and Giving
Gifts to charity remain tax deductible and continue to provide a relaible tax planning opportunity. Gifts made to our Catholic institution are tax deductible as well.
